Empire Advisors, LLC is owned and managed by George Haggerty, former New York State Deputy Secretary for Financial Services, serving under Governor Andrew Cuomo from 2012 until 2015. Mr. Haggerty has had a guiding hand regarding every piece of financial services legislation passed in New York State while he was in the Executive Chamber. Mr. Haggerty had also served the Cuomo administration as an Executive Deputy Superintendent in the NYS Department of Financial Services, organizing its Real Estate Finance Division.
