NYBA Announces
its First Green Initiative:
SoyPrint™
Toner Cartridges
The New
York Bankers Service Corporation (NYBSCO) recently added SoyPrint™
toner cartridges to its current endorsements as an eco-friendly
alternative to traditional oil based laser printer cartridges. This move
enables all members to be among the first in the country to use a
soy-based toner cartridge in their laser printers and have a positive
impact on our environment!
SoyPrint™,
is the first laser cartridge using toner powder derived from soybeans,
rather than oil. Cartridges for the most popular laser printers are now
available at prices comparable to brand name versions. Soy ink
has been available for some time, but this is the first soy-based laser
cartridge anywhere!
