Study: Home Improvement Decisions Take Longer

home_improvementWhen it comes to making a major home improvement purchase of more than $500, consumers spend an average of 108 days researching their purchase before taking the plunge.  That number has increased from 2015, when consumers spent 97 days researching their purchase. Compare that to a purchasing decision for an automobile, or even expensive auto parts, where consumers spent just 26 days on research.
