Chase Makes $6 million Grant to Community-Based Lender

Chase announced on December 20 that it has made grant of $6 million to the National Development Council (NDC). The Council is a designated CDFI and is based in Manhattan. It focuses on small business lending in the tri-state area. 

Bob Davenport, president of NDC, says the grant is the largest the group has ever been given.  As reported by Crain's, Mr. Davenport said "It will really enable us to continue our mission to work with emerging small businesses in low-income communities."
