Course Description:
  Truth in Lending Act - Regulation Z gives students key actions required to be in compliance with Regulation Z. Students begin the course by learning about the conditions that led to the enactment of Regulation Z. Students learn how to explain the annual percentage rate to customers. The course provides specific disclosure requirements for both open-end and closed-end types of credit, as well as the additional requirements for home-related loans. Students are introduced to the rescission period—how it works and who is entitled to this provision. The course also covers how Regulation Z is enforced, and the penalties for non-compliance with Regulation Z. REVISED: 2009

Audience:  Bank personnel involved in the lending process, including mortgage, consumer and small business lenders, loan processors and loan servicers.
