INTRODUCTION TO ANALYZING FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Course Description: Introduction to Analyzing Financial Statements
introduces financial statement analysis as a means of determining the
viability of a small business loan request or monitoring the financial
solvency of the business. The course covers analyzing the income
statement and balance sheet, determining key financial ratios and
trends, and performing basic cash flow analysis.
Audience: Bank personnel responsible for reviewing financial statements for the
purpose of assisting in making lending decisions, monitoring the ongoing
health of the business, or conducting the initial financial analysis.
Learning Objectives: After completing this course, students will be able to:
